Blooming in late spring to early summer, it thrives in full sun to part shade, preferring rich, well-drained soil. This long-lived perennial makes an excellent cut flower and is ideal for borders and mixed plantings. Duchesse de Nemours was bred in 1856 - a favorite for nearly 170 years.
