A chance seedling from clematis ‘Comtesse de Bouchaud’, it retains most of its parents’ characteristics, except having cream white flower color. The flowers are 4″ in diameter, and the white petals are offset by yellow-white anthers. It grows to a height of 9′ and blooms June-August. Pruning type 3.
