Cesky Gold® Betula x plettkei adds refreshing color to cold climate landscapes. This shrubby dwarf birch offers season-long interest with tiny chartreuse-yellow leaves with scalloped edges that emerge in sunset hues of orange and red. Cesky Gold® dwarf birch is exceptionally hardy–cold tolerant to USDA zone 2. This durable shrub responds well to pruning; it can be shaped, sheared, hedged, used as a miniature patio tree, or left to its appealing natural habit. Its versatility makes it a great choice for many gardens and landscapes. Cesky Gold® was developed by Michal Andrusiv in the Czech Republic.
