Trailblazer™ Silver is a sun and heat loving shrub with outstanding drought tolerance, perfect for pairing with other low water shrubs in the garden. Good drainage is imperative, so growers should note that for best results, group it with other low water plants such as Buddleia and Choisya. Thanks to its excellent deer resistance, Trailblazer™ Silver Texas sage was added to the Deer Proof program. This stunning warm climate shrub was selected by noted plantsman Jim Berry of Grand Saline, Texas, where Leucophyllum is the official State Native Shrub.
