It bears nodding, orange blooms heavily speckled with maroon and finished with strongly recurved petals, giving it a refined yet wild, naturalistic presence in the garden. Blooming from mid to late summer, it brings vibrant color and architectural texture to borders and mixed plantings. Plants reach 4 to 8 feet tall on slender, sturdy stems lined with lance-shaped green leaves.
