Selected for its very dark foliage and deep blue flowers, Beyond Midnight® caryopteris is a reliable and handsome addition to really any sunny spot in the landscape. It attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making it an excellent choice for perennial beds and pollinator gardens. Its spiky blue flowers and deep foliage bring refreshing color to the late summer garden. This tough shrub is easy to grow, and once established, it's very drought tolerant. Beyond Midnight® bluebeard is also extremely deer resistant; in fact, it’s part of the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Deer Proof™ program . It’s also known as blue mist spirea, though it is not related to Spiraea .
